Just took some photos of my little housie because I cleaned it up :) We live on about 10 acres on an old banana farm on a mountain in the hinterland. Our house is an old caravan with an extension built off the side of it. The caravan is only used for our kitchen, wardrobe and bathroom. My boyfriend is a plumber so it’s been fit out with a proper shower, toilet etc. Our house is under the old banana packing shed, so when it rains it always sounds like a hail storm! While it sounds nice when it rains normally, when it buckets down it’s so loud you have to yell to talk over all the noise!
90% of our house is second hand/vintage. From our couches, fridge and dressing table, to things like old trunks, sewing machines and draws. Our bed is made from pallets, and the brown bag on the end of our bed is packed for our camping trip tonight. Cue gumboots, flannelette pjs, trackies, Pictionary, candles and a Polaroid camera.
Our house is really small, but I love it so much! (Please excuse my pjs in the mirror hehe)
